The APBSNL Competent Authority has decided to offer “Special Students” Festival season scheme under GSM Mobile services.

Student special Plan under Data Services:-
- 2G SIM to be offered free of cost (Charges to be applied for 3G SIM if asked by the customer)
- The existing Data plan of Rs.51 is to be offered Free of cost.
- Students while taking connection under this Student plan have to subscribe any of the existing Prepaid Data STV with MRP of Rs.100 or more in case of 3G or Rs.98 or more in case of 2G data service.
Other terms and conditions for the scheme:
- This scheme will be implemented through BSNL channels i.e. CSCs (BSNL Outlets), by placing canopies / stalls etc. in college campus / in vicinity of college campus coordination in association with college Administration.
- Student need to submit normal identity proof for getting a connection and provide proof of being a college / school student.
