BSNL Planned to install more Free WiFi Hotspots across the Northern State of India in association with Trimax IT services on revenue sharing basis.
adfState Owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has finalized agreement with M/s Trimax IT Services to deploy Free WiFi Hostpots in Northern States like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttarpradesh, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh of India.
Earlier BSNL in association with M/s Quadgen Wireless services has installed Free WiFi Hotspots in Southern and Northern Public places. M/s Quadgen Wireless services putting up revenue sharing basis initial minutes Free WiFi Hotspots where customers and enterprise users will get 5G speed internet services between 2Mbps to 20Mbps across Telangana (Hotspots in Hyderabad), Andhrapradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhyapradesh and Chattisgarh states of India under Free WiFi Services.
BSNL will supply internet bandwidth upto 10Mbps to 100Mbps to newly installed WiFi Hotspots. According to the agreement M/s Trimax will install, own operate, manage WiFi hotspot at public places, government colleges, government hospitals, bus stations, temples, parks, airports, beaches and other public places subject to the permission by local authorities. Timax will also take care of subscriber acquisition, subscriber validation, activation of service, customer support and provide centralized NOC (Network operating center).
