State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has doubled the price of Caller ID Landline telephone instrument for New Landline and Broadband customers in all Telecom Circles. On discount rate BSNL Landline telephone instrument available at Rs.300 per unit now it is available at revised rate.
BSNL already announced various offers for Landline and Broadband customers,
BSNL recently introduced Free Unlimited Night calling to any network from BSNL Landline/Broadband phone from 09:00pm to 07:00am on specific plans across India.
Under BSNL Landline services to bring back disconnected Landline customer (old customers) offered Free Incoming to Closed Landline/Broadband customers and Free installation for Closed Landline/Broadband connections has increased number of landline connections for BSNL.
BSNL slashed Installation, Shifting and Change of plan for Landline and Broadband connections in urban areas from Rs.750 to Rs.600 from 1st September, 2015.
New from BSNL sources, BSNL has already implemented new rate of Telephone instrument in few telecom circles and selling at price Rs.600/- per unit. The existing customers to replace their old telephone instrument with new Caller ID instrument then they have to pay of Rs.600/- per unit and also new customers on request of Caller ID instrument BSNL charge Rs.600/- per unit for new connection.
BSNL also announced to withdraw scheme of purchasing Modem from open market, BSNL itself provides Modem for new connections.

BSNL upgraded all Broadband plans to 2Mbps speed (Pre FUP) from 512Kbps in all telecom circles.
