PAN India BSNL has announced to revise WiFi plans from duration based to volume based under WiFi services across the country.
State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) installing Public WiFi hotspots across the country in major public place, Tourist places and Pilgrim places to compete with Private telecom players with 4G networks. Currently, BSNL is offering duration based unlimited usage prepaid WiFi plans to all retail customers has been revised to volume based services.
BSNL commissioned more than 650 WiFi hotspots and plans to setup total of 2500 hotspots in the current financial year. From 1st February, 2016 onwards BSNL will offer Volume based instead of duration based tariff across the country.
The above revision will be implemented with effect from 1st February, 2016 in all Telecom Circles and applicable to Prepaid WiFi plans customers.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
