Resolve Your BSNL Complaints on BSNL Official Social Network pages Facebook and Twitter

BSNL Reviving its brand image by resolving customer grievances on Social Network. PAN India BSNL has decided to resolve all the customer complaints on social media platform which are unresolved / pending for a long time.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is rebuilding its brand image by resolving customer complaints via Social Media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) by interacting and sharing information with customers on various issues.

According to the suggestion from Hon’ble Communication and IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad, BSNL using social media platform for building and a system to address / resolve customer grievances through social network platform.

Few months back State run Telecom Company BSNL has opened its accounts on Facebook and Twitter Social media platforms for resolving customer grievances in an effective way.

When a customer posts any complaint on BSNL Official Social network pages (Facebook, Twitter) are monitored and each of these complaints settled in a time-bound manner by the IT ministry. So far, BSNL has resolved 111 complaints out of 326 grievances posted on Social network pages.

In a statement Communications and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ‘This is part of digitalizing India. For digital revolution to trickle down to grass-roots level, citizens' complaints from any corner of the country, especially remote, must be redressed immediately and promptly’.

BSNL forwards genuine complaints posted on social media to the concerned department in writing and a time frame is given for attending to that complaint. The minister’s personal staff monitors all the redressal mechanism and delay in redressing public complaints beyond the stipulated time is taken very seriously.
