BSNL has announced the introduction of Friends and Family scheme and allowing Special tariff vouchers 42 and 88 in Student Special plan under GSM mobile services.
State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) added extra features to recently launched Student Special plan for Prepaid plan mobile users across Andhrapradesh Telecom (Including Telangana) from 20th July, 2016 onwards.
BSNL is planned to gain more number of connections in AP Circle and Telangana has decided to offer special benefits prepaid plan to students, where maximum number of connections to be added to BSNL network offering affordable tariff and features to Student special plan.
As per latest information, BSNL competent authority already successfully running Friends and Family scheme in Nestham Prepaid plan is now included to Student Special plan and allowing Voice calling STVs 42 and 88 to make more cheap calls @ 10ps per minute to any network.
The above special features and Special Tariff Vouchers will be implemented with effect from 20th July, 2016 onwards till further orders issued.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.

Friends and Family Feature Scheme in Student Special plan
- The FnF Facility with Student special plan allowed for two Local numbers (Mobile/Landline/GSM Mobile/CDMA mobile) with tariff @ 10ps per minute for Local voice calls to On-net (BSNL numbers) F&F numbers and Local voice calls @ 20ps for Off-net (Other network) F&F numbers.
- The Friends and Family number can be any combination of On-net/Off-net Local numbers.
- Registration of each F&F number/Change of each F&F number will be charged @ Rs.5/- per number.
- The tariff offered for Friends and Family will be applicable in Home LSA (Within Circle i.e AP & Telangana) only.
- If number under Student special plan is in under National Roaming then base tariff will be applicable for calling to FnF number also i.e No reduced tariff of @ 10 paisa per minute for Local On-net FnF number and @20 paisa per minute to Off-net number.
Allowing Voice STV 42 and Voice STV 88 in Student Special plan:
- Voice STV 42 offers, all Local/National BSNL network voice calls @ 10 paisa per minute and for Off-net voice calls will be charged @30 paisa per minute with 21 days validity.
- Voice STV 88 offers, all Local/National BSNL network voice calls @ 10 paisa per minute and for Off-net voice calls will be charged @30 paisa per minute with 48 days validity.
The above special features and Special Tariff Vouchers will be implemented with effect from 20th July, 2016 onwards till further orders issued.
All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
