No concessional BSNL tariff is allowed on Holi Festival 2018 day

State run Telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced Blackout day on account of festival Holi 2018 for Prepaid/Postpaid mobile subscribers.

Under GSM mobile services BSNL according to the 43rd Amendment of TRAI Rules and regulations/Instructions issued from time to time has already listed Blackout day list publicly earlier. In that one of the Major Festivals celebrating in India like Holi BSNL declared as Blackout day.
Under Blackout day strictly BSNL not allowed any concessional tariff / discount schemes for making voice calls, sending SMS and data usage etc.


However, the freebies offered under the Prepaid plans 186, 429, 485, 666, 949 and 999 are excluded from Blackout days as the freebies are the base tariff of these plans.


The freebies of the above prepaid plans are available during Blackout days.


Note: All the charges on Blackout day will be as per the base plan of the customer.


All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
