BSNL Mobile Money Order Services will be Launched in Andhrapradesh with Postal Department

Postal Department of Andhrapradesh State is going to launch third money transfer service in association with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) network services where users can easily transfer or receive money within minutes of time by using messaging services.
Recently Union minister of state for communication and information technology Smt Killi Kruparani announced that nearly around 16,000 post offices across Andhrapradesh State this service will be offered by means of Electronic Money Transfer (EMO) and Instant Money Transfer (IMO).
The above Mobile Money Order Services will be launched in Andhrapradesh Telecom Cicle by June end. Around 1 crore customers of APBSNL can avail this services who are using Mobile phones.
The procedure fro Money Order Transfer as follows, mobile user can deposit cash at his/her near by post office which the money receiver would get an instant SMS intimation on his/her mobile phone. The payee has to approach the designated post office in his/her area and by showing SMS (A pin code) on his/her mobile can claim the amount (Money Order).
Minimum Money order would be Rs.1,000 and charges applied for using Mobile Money Transfer Rs.40 will be charged uptp Rs.1,500, the amount of Rs. 70 will be charged for remittance from Rs.1,500 to 5,000, and the amount of Rs.1,00 will be charged for remittance from Rs.5,001 to 10,000.
