Customers who travels or shifts their houses from one state to other states there is problem they face is change of Mobile number from one state to other. To over come this problem BSNL introduces Full MNP (Nation wide Mobile Number Portability) across the country.
State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launches Full Mobile Number Portability (Nation wide MNP) for customers where users can retain their mobile numbers while shifting/transfer between one state/circle to other without changing number.
Telecom Commission and Secretary, Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Rakesh Garg, in a statement, ‘Nation wide Mobile Number Portability (Full MNP)’ would benefit for those customer who shift/transfer one state/circle to other without changing mobile number. Customer can retain their GSM mobile number (Prepaid/Postpaid) in the same telecom circle, said.
Earlier Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Ravi Shakar Prasad announced Full MNP will be launched in India in July 2015 for mobile subscribers.
This facility will be available for all subscribers of Telecom companies from 3rd July 2015.
