BSNL Broadband plans upgrade to minimum 2Mbps from October, 2015

PAN India BSNL to advance all Broadband plans to minimum 2Mbps pre FUP (Fair Usage Policy) speed across the country under Broadband services.
 
Private telecom operators are providing high speed internet services to their customers and attracting customer with new offers. Therefore, State owned Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to compete with Private Telecom companies announced that it will upgrade all existing Broadband plans for both old and new customers to minimum sped upto 2Mbps pre FUP (Fair Usage Policy) across India.

Broadband Customer welcomed this move from BSNL offers post FUP speed a minimum of 2Mbps.
BSNL introduced FUP Topups for additional speed for Broadband users after FUP quota allotted. BSNL new speed 2Mbps is pre FUP (Fair Usage Policy) when data is exhausted the quota allotted speed will revert back to 512 Kbps as usual.

BSNL Broadband band customer under 512Kbps speed plans will be benefited after upgraded speed of 2Mbps. All upgraded plans with effect from 1st October, 2015 in all telecom circles.
The details of the upgraded Broadband plans with speed 2Mbps pre FUP


The upgraded below Broadband plans are applicable only in Tirupathi, Kurnool, Anantapur, Warangal and Nellore of Andhrapradesh Telecom Circle.


Whereas, the below upgraded plans are only applicable in Khammam, Ongp;e. Karimnagar, Cudapah, Mahboobnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Srikakulam and Vizainagaram of Andhrapradesh and Telangana Circles.


The above upgrade will be implemented with effect from 1st October, 2015.
