BSNL offers assistance to Franchisee, Retailer to launch Toll Free Number for M-Wallet services with SBI.
State runs Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to launch mobile wallet services linked Toll Free number for BSNL Franchisee, Retailers and Channel partners. BSNL in July introduced prepaid card linked M-Wallet (Mobile Wallet) services which allows customer to transfer money, withdraw cash upto 1 lakh partner with State Bank of India (SBI) in selected telecom circles.
M-Wallet service allows customer to load money even if they don’t have bank account and can transfer money from one bank to other bank and can withdraw cash from other bank branches or BSNL outlets.
Through BSNL outlets customer can load money to their mobile wallet by visiting BSNL retail outlet who don’t have bank accounts. A dedicated Amdocs Mobile Financial services set of services, spanning, consulting, implementation, systems integration, software and hardware operation and maintenance, facilitates SBI to offer mobile financial services to India’s unbanked and under banked people through BSNL mobile network.
BSNL CHQ requested to Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Bihar Telecom Circles Chief General Manager to open up a Toll Free number for assistance of BSNL Franchisee and retail holders using the mobile wallet (M-Wallet) services partner with State Bank of India (SBI). In all the licensed service areas Toll Free code to be opened as 56163. When Franchisee or Retailer calls to Toll Free number is directed to Triotech call centre where executives will resolve queries and complaints instantly.
