As per BSNL website information, this promotional scheme will be available at BSNL channel partners / BSNL outlets i.e BSNL customer service center.

New subscriber need to approach nearest BSNL customer care or its channel partner to activate Free BSNL Chip card in December, 2018 to start new Year 2019 with new BSNL mobile connection.
PSU offering Free BSNL chip for those new customers who purchases 'Pratibha Plus 49' Prepaid plan under mobile services.

What type of Free SIM will be offered?

During this offer period all new connections on purchase of Pratibha Plus 49 prepaid plan will be offered Free SIM of 64K/ 128K Normal/Micro/Nano/Smart SIMs or 128K Three in One Smart SIMs to the customer at BSNL CSCs or BSNL Partners.

How can I start my New BSNL SIM?

After purchase of New 2G / 3G / 4G SIM at any customer care center for new connection gets activated within 24 hours.
An automated SMS alert will be passed to alternate mobile number provided by the customer at the time to CAF submission.
Customer need to Dial 123 / 1507 for tele-verification of his / her new SIM card after initial activation.

How can I port my BSNL SIM?

Any mobile operator customer need send SMS to 1900 in format PORT(space)Mobile number
Submit the CAF for MNP (Mobile Number Portability) with correct UPC code generated for porting and Submit Postpaid / Prepaid CAF to the BSNL customer care representative.
The Customer care Staff of BSNL will issue new SIM card after verifying all the details submitted for new connection BSNL SIM.
The date and time of porting will be intimated through SMS.

How can i get BSNL UPC code ( Port code )?

UPC means Unique Porting Code obtained by sending an SMS to 1900 in the format PORT(space)10 digit mobile number. In case of Jammu and Kashmir prepaid mobile customer need to dial 1900 to get UPC code instead of sending SMS.
